William and Fionnuala, King and Queen of the Outlands, were stopped at the US border crossing yesterday, attempting to return home from Avacal Twelfth Night.
They were detained for four hours as their car was searched, and then they were released to go home. United States Border Patrol would not comment on the case, but Baroness Beatrice d’Avignon, their chief of staff, says that Their Majesties were stopped for attempting to bring back $5000 USD worth of Smarties and Timbits. After United States Border Patrol confiscated their candy, Their Majesties were free to go and arrived home earlier this morning.
